I’m pretty excited that we picked up Mashable this month. It is going to nice to take this site to market.
Today we were able to launch a great conversational marketing campaign on Ask a Ninja that I am really proud to be a part of.
Big thanks goes out to everyone at Federated Media, the Ninja Crew, Castfire, and Sean Cummings over Ask, who helped make this idea come to life!

Identity and community will play a huge role in the coming years for marketers online. Just like MyBlogLog successfully put a personality(i.e. Avatar) behind a cookie, the identity card will help in tracking, visualizing and eliciting the true feeling of community online.
Watch this space.
I don’t think this can be looked at as the inmates running the asulym, rather this is a great case study in community and letting people truly control a social news site. The only other example I can think of where the community has this much control is Craigslist and I would hate to see [...]
