I completely agree with Battelle. What a low blow to scoop the team at ChasNote when they were off on a full-staff coordinated vacation. I've removed JG Etc from my feed and replaced it with a second subscription to Icanhascheezburger.

Given that Chasnote is on vacation, I think this scoop is unfair. Shankman should give his interview to icanhascheezburger.

Jon,

As a man who seemingly has extensive and timely knowledge of cultural and business trends, how do approach the conundrum of selecting subject matter areas to focus your attention on, and at what depth/breadth?

Respectfully yours,
Matt

Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, one group is all-too-often forgotten. I would like to know how this Early Adopting Media Genius plans to help the kidneys of the world. And now I will hang up and wait for his answer. Thank you.

I'd like to know whether Mr. Shankman foresees a troubled U.S. economy driving more advertising dollars to the internet, and away from magazines and television.

Also, if you put Choco Leibniz cookies and Fig Newtons into the same container, will they quarrel?

I want to know what Shankmoney thought of the last episode of the " Wire" and if Michael represents Omar or Barksdale?

And given he is tight with "bubbles'" what did he think about his salvation in the finale?

Additionally, how can we get a sponsor to underwrite an East vs. West beer pong tournament?

Thanks for allowing the opportunity. There are a whole host of people out here in SF looking for definitive answers to the following questions:

It's common belief that Isaac Newton invented calculus. However, Gottfried Leibniz published his findings as much as 3 years prior to Newton publishing his manuscript in 1687. Was Leibniz influenced by Newton's earlier work on fluxions? Or did Leibniz reach his conclusions independently? Has Leibniz been shortchanged by the history books?

Eagerly awaiting the interview.

Mr. Shankman,

Can you talk to how your education at BU and relationships with the high society elite, such as Bill Clinton, have shaped your career and helped you become the larger then life personality we see today?

Best,
Mark

My question for Mr. Shankman -

Given all of your success and web celebrity, how do you stay grounded?
