So Engadget has a post about the potential new Video iPod look. At first glance it appears a bit unrealistic. Ohhh the scratches.

But then you look at this patent published application. Specifically claim 12.

12. The user interface method as recited in claim 1 wherein the user interface mode is a scroll mode, and wherein the GUI element is a virtual scroll wheel.

Hmmm, tablet or iPod, maybe not that far off?
