Went to Scott’s dinner last night. It was great to see him again and also have some Indian food. There are some pictures of the event floating around. He wrote a really good post about the whole event here.

I particualrly liked this part…..

Talk to the big as well as the little people. Yeah was utterly cool to see Dave and Om and Matt but I really appreciated seeing James Gross and Wai Yip Tung. Always keep in mind that there’s no such thing as an unimportant person anymore — and there really never was. We’re all just one leap away from the Million Dollar Homepage.

Scott, thanks for identifying me as one of the “little people.” It is about time that people stop dancing around the whole issue of class & society, and just come right out and tell people, “Yes, I know you are a member of a lower social blog class, but I’m a BIG enough person that I can still talk to you…That is, if you (with your sub-standard intelligence) can understand what I’m saying……. Gosh I’m progressive!”
Or, sub Matt, maybe you were just referring to size.

In all seriousness, it was a good time and I hope to do it again soon.
